Can Prunera

Can Prunera

Can Prunera Museum of Modernism is located in an old, modernist house, which was built at the start of the twentieth century. A combination of winding, animalistic and natural shapes greet visitors, who get to look around a museum that has become a part of Sóller's identity.

Visitors start with a journey through the rooms on the ground and main floors, where parts of the original furniture has been conserved: tables, chairs, beds, wardrobes and glass cabinets which are clearly very richly decorated. In these rooms, visitors can appreciate the paintings and sculptures on display. On the second floor, you can take a look at the exhibition “Modernism in the twenty-first century”, a collection of paintings that belong mainly to the Serra Art Collection, and which, in recent years, has expanded thanks to donations of works from specific people and artists that have been made to the Tren de l’Art Foundation, the managing body for the Can Prunera Museum of Modernism.

Winter: From November 1st to February 28th between 10:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. You can enter the museum up to 30 minutes before closing time. Closed on Monday.

Summer: From March 1st to October 31st from 10:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. You can enter the museum up to 30 minutes before closing time. Open every day.
